NICHOLS JOINS PARTNERSHIP IN LOCAL ARCHITECTURE FIRM


LITTLE ROCK - SCM Architects of Little Rock has announced that Jonathan Nichols, AIA has become a Principal, joining founder Mike Steelman along with John Connell, Fred Moseley, Brad Place, and Ken Amburgy, Jr.
Nichols was previously a firm Associate at SCM.
Warren native Jonathan Nichols is a graduate of the School of Architecture at Louisiana Tech University (B. Arch. ’02). Nichols joined SCM Architects in 2007 and has recently worked on the George H. Clippert Annex and Renovations to the Chamberlin Center for the School of Forest Resources at the University of Arkansas Monticello, the Grand Prairie Center at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas, and the New Dining Hall at Henderson State University. Jonathan is also a key director for the firm’s banking projects throughout the state.
With regional offices in Little Rock and Fayetteville, SCM Architects is a unique practice of thorough, considerate, and creative leaders who maintain the relationship between client and architect as fundamental and meaningful to the design and construction process. The firm’s staff of twenty includes thirteen registered architects, making SCM Architects the fifth largest architecture firm in the state, according to the Book of Lists published by Arkansas Business.
